Working on a Christmas stocking. Why, you ask? Oh, that’s because I didn’t really have the time to do it from the time Helen was born until Christmas. I mean, after all, I only had 9 months. But, now that I’ve got 3 days until pack-out, well, now I think I have plenty of time for the stocking. Oh, and about 4 other creative-type projects that have been waiting in the wings. Waiting for what, you ask? Apparently they were all waiting for a deadline. Like a not-gonna-have-a-sewing-machine-for-the-next-9-months kind of deadline. Because things that have sat in the closets for months or years waiting to be finished, or hung on a wall, or whatever can’t remain unfinished during a move. They must be moved in their finished state. I think I read that in the booklet from the State Department. Oh, right! I just made that rule up to make myself crazy.
But the stocking will be cute, no?
